During the last week of classes for the 2015-2016 academic year, the Department of Languages, Literature, and Cultural Studies celebrated those graduating with degrees in English and English Education, as we do every year.  The students read and performed selections from their senior projects, which included short stories, critical essays, and short plays.  This year's graduates are
  • Noah Hills:  from Given the Circumstances (a play)
  • Danielle Miller: from “Finding the Light” (a short story)
  • Jaclyn Sutherland: from Gravity (a play)
  • Tyler Theile: from “The Hungry God: Love’s Struggle in the Midst of an Addictive Culture" (an essay on C.S. Lewis)
  • Brianna Walker: from “Loss and Resurrection” (an essay on Robinson's Housekeeping)
  • Mikayla Walker: from “The Role of the Wood in Adam Bede” (an essay)
